We had a great week last week at Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS, but at the end of it, we were so tired.
Last night we had the best musical of the VBS music and the things that the kids learned during the week.
Reed's class had a great time in VBS.
Reed really enjoyed Recreation, but it wore him out.
Of course, Reed's best friend Britton was there.
Needless to say, with all that was going on, we didn't do a lot of chores so Reed had to pitch in and unload the dishwasher.
He is a great helper.
We had the Batson's over for supper tonight, so Reed helped fix the baked beans.
Yummmy!

Brown sugar, mustard, and ketchup too!

Today I took Reed to the pool after I got home from work. We stayed about 1.5 hours and then came home, showered and got ready for the Batson's to come over. When we came out of the bedroom, the Batson's were here and it was pouring down rain.
We started to the kitchen when all of the sudden Abbey said "Boys, Get out of the rain!"
Yes, they had hit the sidewalk for a little time playing in the rain.
This is the boy who cries in the shower when water gets in his eyes.

I love the rain pictures! That's the best thing about rain in the South. Its warm enough to play in. I agree with Beckie, truly a Hallmark moment!
