Pumpkin Patch'n

Okay, before I start, I realize that our blogging has become quite sporadic lately. Some days I don't have time to blog and some days, I just don't feel like it. Abbey has decided that she is going to pick up some of the blogging responsibilities and that is fine with me!

Reed has been growing like crazy and every time we look at him he seems to have lost a little more baby and gained a little more "little boy" look.

It's hard to believe how much he has grown in two years.

The other day, Reed went to the pumpkin patch with Britton and their mothers.

I use the term pumpkin patch loosely as it has yet to be determined if there is actually a field of pumpkins anywhere around. It's more like a "fall attraction" in my opinion.

Reed loves to swing, or as he says, "fwing."

The boys loves playing with together.

Reed pumped water from an old well-pump.

Very similarly to his Daddy, Reed always needs his drink with him.

Reed and Britton loved the chickens.

And the pigs.

Reed and Abbey had a blast playing together.

There was much fun to be had on the hay piles.

And now for the faux pumpkin patch, or as I like to call it, an field full of already harvested pumpkins.

And here are some shots of the attempt at a cute picture of the boys.

I think they were sheming against having a cute picture.

Hey, at least they were both looking at the camera.

It's a pumpkin marathon.

Little pumpkins.

Check back this week, because there are some more posts coming: "Reed's First Big BooBoo," "To the Pumpkin and Mum Market," and "Tate's Big Top BIrthday".

Are you kidding me?! Pre-harvested pumpkins and they call that a pumpkin patch???

No matter, glad that Reed had a fun time. Hope he found the perfect pumpkin for Halloween.

I know you are already into Christmas, but its totally WRONG to carve a Christmas tree into a pumpkin, in case you are wondering! ;-)
