It's the Weekend!

Reed is so excited that it is the weekend. He loves it when his Mama and Daddy are home!

He loves to have our undivided attention and anyone else's who might be around.

He just discovered that his little lamb has a little noise box and it about scared the poo out of him!

He was quite shocked.

Although Lola went home yesterday, we still had a photo or two that needed to be put up of her and Reed playing.

We have very few plans for the weekend. We're going to clean the house, clean the van, and rest. We need to make sure that we have all of our tax forms together and then we're also going to watch the super Bowl! We hope Arizona wins.

Choo Choo

Reed has had so much fun playing today.

It finally snowed today in Tennessee. It was really pretty. I drove to work and there was nothing happening, about an hour later, we were driving home to avoid being snowed in downtown.

It turns out that the snow wasn't all that bad and it melted pretty quickly.

I brought work home. Lola and Reed played in another room while I did my work.

This afternoon, Reed played with his choo choo train.

He had a blast playing with his choo choo.

He had trouble figuring out that his body could not sit on the tracks.

But he loved making the train go under the bridge.

The choo choo was soo funny.

Destroying the train tracks was even funnier.

He liked how the magnets worked together on the train.

He must be getting another tooth because the drool is on strong right now.

This train is headed for disaster. There is very little track!

After playing with the train, Reed decided that it was time to play "koccer." I kept trying to get him to say "b-ball," but it was only "koccer".

Reed has learned how to say, "Taiwan." He says it really good. We're trying to teach him to know that when we ask "Where were you born" he should say, "Taiwan."

Cutie PaTootie

I think that it is so funny how Reed's face pictures sometimes make him look a little chubby. In reality, he is not chubby at all. Is he light as a feather? No, I don't think so, but he's definitely not chunky.

The other night before our revival, we went to the park with Britton and his parents. Yes, you read it right, Reed is now saying Britton! It's so sad! He's growing up too quickly.

Reed was happy to see a doggy at the park. The dog looked like Lola's dog that Reed refers to as "dog".

Tonight, we went to get CVS with Lola. Lola is here keeping Reed because Abbey is in Writer's Conference this week.

Reed was excited because Lola brought Reed a balloon with Elmo, Ernie, and all of the Sesame Street gang on it.

We took Reed to get a haircut after the CVS run.

Then we went to eat.

Then we went to see Monya at her new apartment.

Now, we're home and I think that Reed is in the bathtub.

I'm blogging, and getting really sleepy.

We're possibly going to be having an ICE day tomorrow.

We'll have to see.

I brought work home in case I can't drive in.

The Park

It was finally a beautiful day outside so we took advantage of the weather and took Reed to the Park.

Reed was thrilled with our decision and enjoyed playing really hard!

He ran and jumped and played.

Did I mention that he slid. He loves the slides. All 4 of them at this park.

He is getting so independent, wanting to go everywhere that he wants, by himself.

We are so blessed to live in a town with such a nice park system.

Reed agrees that parks are so much fun!

Weeee!!!

He was so sleepy tonight that he went to sleep before 8:00.

This was great news for me, until ...

I fell asleep too!

Thankfully, I woke up in time to post tonight and the most important thing is to see ER!

Mommy took a picture of us "cheesing".

He loves to be outside. Hopefully, tomorrow will be pretty enough to go back to the park.

We surprised Abbey by making Reed appear "head-first!"

Just a swinging!

Trying to climb over the fence.

Look at those sleepy eyes!
