Birthday Morning and Party Decor

Reed's birthday morning started out with a bang. He first went into the bonus room to see Uncle Bob's and Aunt Aly.

After breakfast, Reed was sleepy. Mommy and Daddy had to go and get the decorations ready, so Enna attempted to get Reed to go to sleep. I don't think that it was an easy task.

Before we went to the party, Reed and Joshi got to play with Uncle Trae and the "bloon".

Uncle Trae, Abbey, and I went to the clubhouse to decorate for Reed's party. Our subdivision has an AWESOME clubhouse that was originally supposed to be a humongous log cabin home. Unfortunately the couple divorced and the home and land was sold. The developer of our subdivision finished out the house as a clubhouse and developed our subdivision. Best of all, we get to rent it for $25.00.

Above is Reed's gift table (as if he needed any gifts) and cake table.

Uncle Trae and Abbey worked on the streamers and did an EXCELLENT job it was very festive. Reed had an AIRPLANE themed party.

The banner was really cute that Abbey had made. It was also surprisingly affordable as well.

Abbey, ever the hostess prepared a wonderful spread of finger foods, also known as the "inflight meal." We had apples, grapes, and heath bar dip; ham rolls; ranch mix; mexican dip; and cokes and water.

We asked every guest to write a special note to Reed. The suggested notes were: the first time they heard about Reed, advice for living, or the first time they saw Reed.

Abbey prepared hand-poured chocolate airplanes for party favors. Aunt Ava made the package tops.

The airplane cake was extremely cute. Of course, Abbey made it. I thought that it turned out wonderfully.
