Flat Reed: Mrs. Beth

We were in Mississippi this weekend for me to teach a conference at our former church First Baptist Brandon. It is our home church as a married couple. The people there mean a whole lot to us. One of the most important people there is our children's minister Beth. She's also one of my writers. She's such a great inspiration to Abbey and me.

She's been so excited about getting to meet Flat Reed and she wanted to be the first one to let him use the big boy potty.

It looks like he did a good job. He got the ole "thumbs up" from Mrs. Beth.

You are supposed wash your hands after you go to potty and Mrs. Beth wanted Flat Reed to do just that. I hope that she didn't get his hands too wet because they are nothing more than foam core and paper.

"Cleanliness is next to godliness, Flat Reed!" says Mrs. Beth.

Coming tomorrow night: "Flat Reed: The Beetle Convertible."
